Dataset rebuild frequency

We've noticed something unusual with the dataset, when querying the database for an IP address, the result sometimes shows an IP address listing that was "set inactiv" a few days earlier. This would suggest that the database has been edited in order to de-list certain IP addresses but that the edits have not been incorporated into the live dataset yet. There seems to be a delay in this process for some reason, in the past the edits have been transparent i.e. we have never seen an edited record before. Previously any changes to the dataset were either immediately committed to live or at least once per day but now we can see several days delay in this dataset rebuild. We have also noticed that the size of the database has increased a lot in recent months which may have something to do with it. We can't be sure that the live dataset actually reflects the recent edits, probably not.

    Your service is blocking internet traffic for not good reason Fix Your Database!!
    Even your own Database shows the record was created in 2012. Hmm I do not know if you know how this internet thing works, but companies are always changing ISP's getting new IP addresses all the time. We did not have the IP until the first of this year. Also when you block these IP you are not hurting the ISP you are hurting the users your website claims it is trying to help. Remove our IP ASAP

    Hello APNEWS,

    We use statically assigned IP address range 91.138.165.120/29 in which IP 91.138.165.126 is our MTA that we use for legitimate reasons. We are not spamming, we adhere to a strict no-UBE policy and we have implemented multiple layers of protection (PTR, SPF, DKIM, Anti-spam, Firewall, IPS). Kindly update your database for the aforementioned IP address because we consider that it covers all requirements to apply as a legit MTA.

    Is this site actively maintained? There seems to be majority of stale entries for IP list years ago when they were probably owned by different providers and have different organizations using them.

    There many request here to have an IP with a stale entry removed but it does not appear they are being removed. The web site copyright is 2010 and the latest post in the blog is more than a year old which gives the indication this not being actively maintained. If it is actively maintain it would be good to update the copyright, provide more frequent and current posting, along with considering a purging of listing older than a year. If not purging for older than a year implement a process to validate the IP is still owned/hosting what caused the original listing.
